I adore Autumn. I know, basic white girl alert!
I struggle with Autumn in North Carolina because I long for the crisp, cool air come September. I crave wearing my tall boots and wrapping myself in a cardigan. It’s a high of 91 today.
What’s a basic, fall-loving girl in NC to do? I deal with my first world problem in two ways: I rebel against the weather and refuse to wear shorts AND I decorate!
It may not look like Fall outside, but inside my house, it is Autumn.
One of my favorite pieces I’ve created is my rustic Fall centerpiece. It doesn’t get much use these days with a table covered in toys and, admittedly, craft projects. BUT, I am determined to find a sweet place for it this year.
The holder and vases come from World Market. I found the Fall berry stems and Leaf Stems at Hobby Lobby and fell in love with them, so I knew I wanted to incorporate them in a centerpiece. I've seen these berry wraps at several craft stores, so they are easy to find.
I simply wrapped each bottle with the berry stems (which are on bendable wire). I trimmed the leaf stems to contain one or two leaves because I liked the clean, simplistic look.
I look forward to changing it out for each season!
