I've been unintentionally MIA for a few weeks. We moved houses and then, two weeks later, left for our Summer Mission in Gatlinburg, TN. My husband and I are on staff with Cru, a college ministry, and every summer we staff a summer mission-probably my favorite part of my job! I am looking forward to mentoring younger staff women and sharing the gospel with internationals who work here during the summer.
Without further ado, here are my favorites this month! Once a month, I love to share my favorite things in order to connect with readers and promote the things I love. I hope you enjoy and please comment and let me know what you're up to.
I am loving the patriotic crafts lately! I love this simple red, white, and blue flower decor from Building Our Hive. It's just my style.
Cupcake's preschool hosted a Mother's Day tea. My mom was in town and was able to attend also. Such a sweet time! I love being this girl's mommy. It was precious to watch her and her classmates sing the gospel for us. Sometimes I wish I could freeze time and keep her little forever, but I also know I want to watch her grow. The dichotomy of emotions is real!
I am a little latein finding Audrey's music, but I heard her in concert recently with Andrew Petersen and fell in love with her beautiful voice and honest lyrics. She writes honestly about her love for the Lord despite her doubt. Love it.
I love the peas and this book is a great addition to the series! My 20 month old LOVES this book. He giggles every time we say, "little green peas!." He loves to study what the peas are doing. It's a great book for learning colors. He requests it multiple times a day. The peas are adorable and, I admit, it makes me giggle too.
That's it for this month!
