April Favorite Things

Once a month, I love to share my favorite things in order to connect with readers and promote the things I love. I hope you enjoy and please comment and let me know what you're up to!

Meditating On

For the past few years, the significance of the Saturday in Between Good Friday and Easter has really captured my mind and heart. I have been thinking about it a lot this Easter season and I wrote about it here!

Book I'm Reading

Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott

I heard this was a must-read for every writer. I just started it, but so far, it is my favorite book this month. Anne has a beautiful and inspiring way with words.

Everyday Adventures

I thoroughly enjoyed Spring Break/Easter Week with these two little nuggets. This photo cracks me up. It pretty much sums up my children right now: tantrum-throwing toddler and soothing Little Mama. Bug was so mad that there were no eggs left to dye.

What blessed my heart the most was hearing Claire tell us about Jesus and how he died for our sins and rose from the dead.

To say I love ice coffee is an understatement. I usually buy a jug of it for convenience. But, I recently started making my own with my own ground coffee and Aeropress. It tastes amazing!!

Old Navy's Midrise Rockstar Jeggings

(Definitely not me pictured in this photo)

I've had a problem findingave to find jeans to fit my bottom, which means they are always falling down.

Then I tried Old Navy's rockstar jeggings with the elastic waist and they are AMAZING. They are incredibly comfortable. They don't fall down. And fellow moms, they reign in the baby pooch without sucking out your soul.

Don't be scared by the fact that they're jeggings. I will disclose that I am a size 14 and they look like normal skinny jeans on me.

That's it for this month!
